How do enter the festival site?

The Festival entrance is located in Portsmouth GuildHall Square to the right of the Guildhall behind the War Memorial through the arches. (Map on website).

Where do I purchase tickets?

Our tickets can be purchased online either through our website or our ticket agent Book.events You can also buy tickets at the gate but these will be limited and only in the event that online tickets have not sold out. More info will be posted on the website closer to the event date regarding this. Buying in advance is advised. All tickets will be scanned and then exchanged for wristbands at the gate. www.book.events/charmedlifefestival

Are there any age limits?

All under 18yrs must be accompanied by one paying adult. One paying adult can only accompany a maximum of four children to the festival. Please ensure you read our terms & conditions in full. Child and Teen Ticket holders can only enter the Festival with the person who purchased their ticket (i.e. their parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian). Any Child or Teen Ticket holders attempting to enter the Festival without this person will be denied entry to the Festival with no refund given.

CHALLENGE 25

Proof of age may be required for all types of Ticket. Please ensure that you have ID with you in case you are asked. ID accepted includes Passports, photographic driving licence & cards bearing the PASS hologram. Failure to provide such ID may result in you being asked to stop consuming and purchasing alcohol and/or leave the Festival. If you look under 25 you may asked for proof of age when you buy alcohol. We operate a strict ‘Challenge 25’ policy.

Where can I find the festival map and stage times?

The festival map and stage times for both stages can be found on our website, we will also be selling festival lanyards from our merchandise stall with all the information needed on the day so you won’t miss a thing.

How can I travel to the festival?

We encourage everyone to use green methods of travel in order to reduce the carbon footprint. walking, bicycle, using the public transport system such as taxis or to lift share.

  • Rail: Portsmouth & Southsea train station is approximately 1 min walk from the Victoria Park. Road: The M275 will directly bring you into the city centre and the main road links to the M3, A3 and M27 connect Portsmouth to east and west from Southampton, Guildford and Chichester.
  • Buses: 1c; 15; 17; 18; 19; 23 and 40 services stop within walking distance. Park and Ride: Busses on Saturdays leave every 10 mins to city centre and Queen Street East
  • Taxi – Taxis will be informed of event and taxi ranks are already located close to Victoria Park.
  • Sea: Portsmouth is served by regular crossings to and from the Isle of Wight, France, Spain and the Channel Islands.
  • Hover Travel: Your fastest foot passenger Isle of Wight Ferry service. Ferries from Southsea Portsmouth to Ryde Isle Of Wight
Can I bring my dog/pet to the festival?

No animals are permitted into the festival with the exception of registered guide dogs.

What times can i get into the festival?

The festival opens to the public from 11.30am and finishes at 11.30pm. Entry is permitted at any time. You are free to come and go all day with a valid wristband.

Can I bring food or drink into the festival?

No food or drink is permitted onsite with the exception of baby food/milk and factory sealed water There will be searches of bags at the main gate and any food/drink found will be confiscated. There are fully licensed bars and food outlets available for you in the festival. If you have any food allergies or dietary requirements please contact us to inform us of this before the festival date.

What baby facilities are there?

The festival has baby changing facilities with free nappies and wet wipes provided by us along with a quiet area for feeding.

Can I bring my camping chair to the festival?

We are more than happy for you to bring camping chairs onto the festival site.

Are there any cash machines onsite?

There are no cash points in Victoria Park, these can be located a few minutes away in Portsmouth City Centre. The main festival bar will be run as a cash and card bar all other traders may not have card facilities.

Is there a first aid point onsite?

We have a first aid and lost child welfare point on site, with first aiders patrolling the festival.
